This is the mock-up and partial storyboard for a fictional app detailing the lives of the six wives of King Henry VII. Each wife has a timeline, dotted with significant dates, which can be compared to the events of the other wives. Each dot represents an event in each queen's life and, when clicked, displays a block of information about that date, as well as a Terry Gilliam-esque animation.
As someone who has been researching and enjoying these women's stories since middle school, my intention with the app's design was not to make light of their lives or tragic deaths. I simply wanted to portray Henry VIII's life and affairs as the dark comedy that they were.
